HOW IT HAPPENED

• Junior Joe Egan led the way for the Holy Cross men's golf team, tying for 24th overall at the Patriot League Championship. Egan shot 76 and 75 in the first two rounds and finished with an 80 to end the tournament with a 231 final score.
• Placing 32nd overall was junior Jake Peer, who finished with a final score of 235 after posting round scores of 75, 78 and 82.
• Senior Joe Blando posted a three-round total of 240 to place 39th overall in the tournament, shooting 78 in round one and 81 in both following rounds.
• Freshman Harrison Thayer placed 41st after posting round scores of 82, 84 and 78 for a total of 244.
• Tying for 42nd overall was freshman Connor Phillips with a score of 245. He shot 84, 80 and 81 in each round respectively.
• Sophomore Tom Dzwonczyk finished the championship in 46th after shooting 83, 80 and 87 for a final score of 250.
