HOW IT HAPPENED

• Junior Joe Egan led the way for the Holy Cross men's golf team, tying for 19th overall at the invitational after shooting 72 and 76 to finish with a final score of 148.
• Placing 45th was sophomore Tom Dzwonczyk, who posted a 73 before shooting 79 in the second round to finish at 152.
• Freshman Harrison Thayer and junior Jake Peer each tied for 73rd overall with two-round scores of 160. Thayer shot 77 and 83, while Peer posted 75 and 85 in each round.
• Closely behind in 75th was senior Joe Blando, who shot 79 and 82 to finish with a final score of 161.

• The Crusaders will return to action Monday, April 16, when they compete at the Rhode Island Invitational in North Kingstown, R.I.
