CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard's Jake McIntyre kicked a 25-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Crimson to a 33-31 victory over the Holy Cross football team at Harvard Stadium. The Crusaders fall to 1-6 on the season with the loss, while the Harvard improves to 3-2 overall.

The Crimson led 30-14 after three quarters of play, before Holy Cross scored 17 straight points to take a 31-30 lead. The Crusader comeback began with a 24-yard touchdown run by junior tailback Domenic Cozier, followed by a two-point conversion pass from senior wide receiver Blaise Bell to senior quarterback Geoff Wade. After a safety trimmed the deficit to 30-24, Wade hit senior wide out Martin Dorsey for a 13-yard touchdown to put Holy Cross up 31-30 with 8:12 remaining.

Harvard had opened the game by jumping out to a 9-0 lead, before Wade found Dorsey for a 19-yard touchdown early in the second quarter to put the Crusaders on the board. The Crimson would add a touchdown and a field goal later in the quarter to build a 20-7 halftime lead. A two-yard scoring run by Cozier trimmed the deficit to 20-14 early in the third quarter, but Harvard came back with a 30-yard McIntyre field goal and a 28-yard touchdown pass from Tom Stewart to Tyler Adams to go up 30-14.

Cozier finished the day with 74 yards on 15 carries, while senior wide receiver Richie DeNicola posted four catches for 106 yards. Freshman linebacker Cullen Honohan led the Crusader defense with 10 tackles and two tackles for loss.
