WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's soccer team lost to Dartmouth Sept. 18 at Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium by a score of 5-0. The Big Green controlled the final third in both halves outshooting the Crusaders 11 to 3. Noah Paravinci scored first for the Big Green five minutes into the first half with a low shot inside the 18-yard box.
Matt Danilack had two goals for the Big Green, and Wyatt Omsberg and Iboka Eduvie notched one goal each as well. The Big Green scored twice off of headers from crosses outside the box and tallied three goals in the first half and two in the second.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Dartmouth outshot Holy Cross 11-3.
- Junior goalkeeper Henry Stutz made three saves for Holy Cross.
- Christophe Palacios did not have to make any saves for the Big Green.
