National Signing Day Central
WORCESTER, Mass. — Holy Cross head football coach Bob Chesney has announced the addition of 11 student-athletes to his team's roster for the 2018 season.
“We are very excited to bring these new student-athletes into our program next fall,” said Chesney. “We have added players at several different position groups, who can help plug some of the holes created by graduation. These 11 young men are a great start to our incoming class, which we will be finalizing in February.”
The 11 student-athletes to sign with Holy Cross hail from five different states, and include three defensive backs, two defensive linemen, two linebackers, two wide receivers, one offensive lineman and one running back.
The Crusaders will return nine starters from their 2017 squad which went 4-7 overall and tied for third place in the Patriot League with a 3-3 mark in conference games. Holy Cross opens up the 2018 campaign, its first under Chesney, when it travels to Colgate on Sept. 1.
