Two members of the Holy Cross football team earned Academic All-Patriot League honors, as announced by the conference on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
Senior right guard
Cam Nolan and sophomore punter
Ethan Moss both earned a spot on the list.
Nolan is a two-time All-Patriot League honoree, earning 2025 first team honors and 2024 second team accolades. A team captain, he started every game in 2025 at right guard. He was additionally a semifinalist for the 2025 William V. Campbell Trophy, which recognizes an individual as the absolute best football scholar-athlete in the nation for his combined academic success, football performance and exemplary leadership. A political science major at Holy Cross with a 3.32 GPA, Nolan has earned Patriot League Academic Honor Roll laurels during his time on The Hill.
Moss handled punting and holding duties for Crusaders in all 12 games this season. He punted 64 times this year for a total of 2,441 yards; his season-long of 67 yards came at Richmond on Oct. 18. He later earned Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week honors for his performance in that game; he averaged 45.1 yards per punt on seven attempts, also pinning a 56-yard punt at Richmond's three-yard line to help preserve the Crusaders' lead late in the fourth quarter. Moss was a 2024 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection, and owns a 3.93 GPA as an economics major. He was the only sophomore selected to the Academic All-Patriot League team.
The Academic All-Patriot League teams are voted on by Patriot League football sports information directors, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing with at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, and be a starter or key reserve. These honors recognize student-athletes who excel in their sport and the classroom.
