HOW IT HAPPENED:

1-0 AF (1st, 9:36, EV): Jake Levin's right point slapshot made its way through traffic and past Berrafato.

1-1 HC (1st, 13:52, EV): Tommy Muratore broke the puck out of the defensive zone on a four-on-four situation. After the puck was dumped in, Mitch Collett picked up the puck along the half wall and sent a behind the back pass to Ryan Ferrill crashing through the slot. Ferrill moved to his backhand and sent the puck under the crossbar.

2-1 HC (1st, 17:07, EV): Michael Laffin worked the pick along the far half-wall and down to Logan Ferguson in the corner. Ferguson took a few strides behind the net and found Scott Pooley alone in the slot for a one-timer.

3-1 HC (2nd, 05:41, EV): T.J. Moore lined up a shot off of Air Force's Billy Christopoulous that rebounded to Pooley on the far post. Pooley sent in an off-angle shot to give the Crusaders a 3-1 lead.

3-2 AF (2nd, 15:43, EV): Matt Serratore snuck the puck past Berrafato on another four-on-four.

3-3 AF (3rd, 5:20, EV): Levin scored his second of the night, again on a point shot.
