The Lead: The Crusaders had student-athletes competing at both the New England and IC4A Championships on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED (IC4A):

• In the 800 m run, senior Francisco Tejidor (Coral Gables, Fla.) placed 28th overall, recording a time of 1:53.94.
• Freshman Brandon Thornhill (Natick, Mass.) placed 24th overall in the 110 m hurdles, earning a time of 15.07.

HOW IT HAPPENED (NEW ENGLAND):

• In the discus throw, sophomore Phil Zobrest (Alden, N.Y.) placed 21st overall with a distance of 42.60 m.
