Holy Cross Decathlon Day One Results

WORCESTER, Mass. – Day one of the Holy Cross Decathlon was completed on Wednesday at the Hart Center Track and Turf Field.

Freshman Alexander Escada (East Greenbrush, N.Y.) currently ranks 15th in the overall standings with 2895 points. He notched the most points in the 100 m dash, finishing in a time of 11.81 to score 689 points.

Unattached athlete Trent Baltzell currently leads the field with 3582 points, while Jonathan Collins of UMass is currently in second place at 3419. Rounding out the top five following day one are Nicholas Ingham at 3344, Jacob Moran of Rhode Island at 3337 and Travon Godette of Westfield State at 3321.

The men's decathlon will conclude tomorrow, with events scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
