  • Holy Cross made the pitching change as Durham came into the game in relief for freshman pitcher Katy Watson (Bexley, Ohio) in the bottom of the fifth.
  • Durham gave up two back-to-back singles by Mariel Schlaefer and Tara Grennan that came back to bite as Holly Geranen sent her deep on a three-run bomb to left field, putting Colgate up 4-3 as the teams with two innings remaining.
