THE BASICS:

• The Lead: Junior wide out Brendan Flaherty caught 11 passes for 100 yards, as the Holy Cross football team defeated Bucknell 23-7 at Christy Matthewson-Memorial Stadium. Flaherty broke the school single-season record for receptions with 13:03 remaining in the second quarter, and now has 96 catches on the year.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• Junior quarterback Peter Pujals completed 30 of 47 passes on the day for 304 yards and two touchdowns, in addition to rushing 10 times for 50 yards.
• Senior wide receiver Kalif Raymond totaled eight catches for 89 yards and two scores.
• Sophomore linebacker Dan Proano made a career-high 10 tackles on the day, including two sacks.
• Senior defensive end Dewayne Cameron recorded a team-best three sacks.
• The Crusaders finished with 440 yards of total offense on the day, while Bucknell managed only 282 total yards.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
• Flaherty broke the school single-season record for receptions, which had been held by Ari Confesor with 90 catches in 2003.
• Holy Cross' 304 passing yards on the day were the most allowed by Bucknell all season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Crusaders opened the scoring at the 10:11-mark of the first quarter on a 22-yard touchdown pass from Pujals to Raymond.
• Junior tailback Gabe Guild then scored on a seven-yard run to make the score 13-0.
• Early in the second quarter, Pujals and Raymond hooked up for another 22-yard touchdown, and Holy Cross led 20-0 at halftime.
• Bucknell scored its only points of the day with 3:13 left in the third quarter, when R.J. Nitti found Andrew Owers with a three-yard scoring strike to make the score 20-7.
• The Crusaders concluded the scoring with a 26-yard field goal by senior placekicker Connor Fitzgerald early in the fourth quarter.

• Holy Cross concludes the 2015 season on Saturday, Nov. 21, when it plays host to Georgetown at Fitton Field at 12:05 p.m.
