HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Holy Cross finished in 11th place with a two-round total score of 616 (+56), which was two shots shy of Manhattan's 10th place total score of 614 (+54). Boston College won the event with a team score of 562 (+2).
• The Crusaders were led by senior captain Craig Norton (Foxboro, Mass.) who tied for 32nd place with a two-round total score of 152 (+12).
• Senior captain John Reali (Searingtown, N.Y.) carded a two-day total of 154 (+14), which tied him for 36th place. Sophomore Cameron Murray (Traverse City, Mich.) and senior captain Connor Burfeind (Falmouth, Maine) recorded two-round totals of 155 (+15) and 156 (+16), respectively, which placed them in ties for 42nd and 46th place.
• Freshman Joe Blando, Jr. (Manhasset, N.Y.) rounded out the scoring for the Crusaders with a 54th place finish (164; +24).

UP NEXT:

• Holy Cross returns to action on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 15-16, when it will compete in the Adams Cup at Newport National Golf Club in Middletown, R.I.
