With graduation approaching on May 23, senior football captain Gary Acquah (Bronx, N.Y.) is getting ready to begin a new chapter of his life. After earning All-Patriot League honors during his junior season, Acquah was elected as one of the team's captains for 2013. He has been involved with Brothers Big Sisters, in addition to participating in Holy Cross Cares Day and the football team's annual Bone Marrow Registry Drive. Acquah is also the co-founder and vice president of Hope for Us Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting youth with sickle cell anemia. Acquah sat down with GoHolyCross.com's Emily Correia to talk about his time as a student-athlete.
