TEAM CO-CAPTAIN

AS A JUNIOR IN 2012:
• Started all 11 games on the season.
• Named second team All-Patriot League.
• Received the Davitt Award as the team’s top defensivelineman.
• Ranked fourth on the squad and led all Holy Cross defensivelinemen with 54 total tackles on the year, including 35 solo stopsand two sacks.
• Placed second on the team with seven tackles for loss.
• Ranked 20th in the Patriot League in tackles for loss, 28thin tackles.
• Also recorded a pass breakup and a blocked extra point.
• Tied his career-high with 10 tackles against NewHampshire.
• Made eight tackles, including one tackle for loss, atLafayette.
• Totaled seven tackles with a quarterback sack atHarvard.
• Posted six total tackles against Dartmouth.
• Recorded five tackles and a sack in the shutout victory atGeorgetown.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011:
• Played in all 11 games on the season, starting ninetimes.
• Led all Crusader defensive linemen with 40 tackles on theyear.
• Also registered two sacks and three tackles for loss.
• Ranked 46th in the Patriot League in total tackles.
• Recorded a season-high 10 total tackles against Georgetown,including two tackles for loss.
• Made five total tackles against Massachusetts.
• Finished with four total tackles against Harvard, Brown andLehigh.
• Totaled three tackles and a sack during the season finaleat Fordham.
• Registered three tackles and a sack in the victory overColgate.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010:
• Did not see any varsity action.

HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played for head coach Mario Valentini at Mount St. MichaelAcademy.
• Served as team captain during his junior and seniorseasons.
• Named first team All-State, first team All-City and firstteam All-Bronx as a senior.
• A three-time All-Catholic High School Football Leagueselection.
• Selected as the Bronx / Manhattan Player of the Year by theNew York Post as a senior.
• Totaled 64 tackles and eight sacks during his senior year,while leading Mount St. Michael to the CHSFL title.
• Recorded 169 tackles over the course of his high schoolcareer, in addition to rushing for 1,318 yards and 23 touchdowns asa fullback.
• Also lettered in basketball, and earned All-Leaguehonors.
• Member of National Honor Society.

PERSONAL:
• Son of William and Vera Acquah.
• Has one brother, Kenny, who is a sophomore linebacker forthe Crusaders.
• Majoring in Sociology.
