WORCESTER, Mass. - Competition is now complete at the 2008 Holy Cross Decathlon & Heptathlon. In the women's heptathlon, Latasha Jarrett of Hartford took first place with a total of 4,218 points. In the men's decathlon, Mike Miller of Springfield captured first place with 6,481 total points.
On the women's side, Holy Cross junior Alexandra Swiatocha (Mahopac, N.Y.) finished in third place with 3,999 points. For the men, Crusader senior Conor Meikle (Newport, R.I.) came in 19th with 4,917 points, while senior Matthew Kaili (Roswell, N.M.) placed 26th with 3,538 points.
Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday, April 19, when it plays host to a meet featuring Central Connecticut, Colgate, Hartford, Maine and Siena beginning at 11:00 a.m.
