Holy Cross Athletics

WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior Kat Anticev has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from February 16-22. Anticev helped lead the Holy Cross women’s swimming and diving team in competition at the Patriot League Championship last week.

At the Patriot League Championship, Anticev finished in seventh place in the 1,650-yard freestyle, while setting new program records in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:18.45) and the 1,650-yard freestyle (17:05.89). She broke two of the longest-standing records in school history, with the previous marks being held by Coleen Lynch in the 1,000-yard freestyle (1995) and Liz Abbott in the 1,650-yard freestyle (1988).

In her other events at the Patriot League Championship, Anticev placed 19th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:57.81) and 30th in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.89), in addition to swimming a leg on the eighth-place 800-yard freestyle relay team (7:31.43).

Holy Cross concluded the 2025-2026 season with a ninth-place team finish at the Patriot League Championship.
