Senior running back Nyeoti Punni has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for competition from November 10 to 16. 

Punni helped lead the Crusaders to a 37-20 win over Bucknell on Saturday, Nov. 15, recording a career high of 131 rushing yards and scoring two touchdowns on 15 carries. He also added in a 25-yard reception. 

He had touchdowns of 15 and 53 yards, the latter of which was the longest touchdown by a Crusader this season. 

Punni helped spark the Crusaders’ best offensive showing of the year, with a season-high in points, rushing yards and total yards. Holy Cross extended its win streak vs. the Bison to seven games and in Lewisburg to nine games. 

This season, Punni is Holy Cross’ second-leading rusher with 375 yards and three total touchdowns on 59 carries. 

Punni and the Crusaders conclude the 2025 season this Saturday, Nov. 22 with a Patriot League matchup at Fenway Park on Saturday, Nov. 22 against Georgetown. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. in Boston for Holy Cross' first game at Fenway Park since 1956. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting redsox.com/holycrossfootball.
