WORCESTER, Mass. – Sophomore forward Declan Ryan has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from December 23-29. Ryan helped lead the Holy Cross men’s basketball team to an 82-46 win over Regis in its only game last week.

During the victory over the Pride, Ryan scored a season-high 12 points on six of eight shooting from the floor. He also pulled down a career-best five rebounds, while tying his career-high with two assists. 

On the year, Ryan is averaging 4.3 points and 1.8 rebounds per game, while hitting 63.2 percent of his field goal attempts.

Holy Cross (8-5 overall) returns to action on Thursday, Jan. 2, when it plays host to Loyola (Md.) in its Patriot League opener at 6 p.m.
