Holy Cross Athletics

Senior captain Brian Fennelly of the Holy Cross men’s track and field team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Dec. 9 – 15.  

Fennelly clinched second in the heptathlon with 4,829 points at the Dartmouth December Invitational from Dec. 13-14. He won the hept. 1000m (2:47.65) and set personal bests in the hept. pole vault (3.90m, second) and hept. shot put (11.34m, second).

The Holy Cross track and field teams will return to action in the new year when they head to The TRACK at New Balance in Boston, Mass. to compete at the UMass Flagship Invitational on Jan. 12.
