Senior linebacker Adam Due of the Holy Cross football team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for competition from Sept. 21 to 27.Â
Due had an all-around day on defense as Holy Cross defeated Lafayette in Patriot League action, with two tackles for loss, including a seven-yard sack, a forced fumble, a quarterback hurry and an interception.
The interception came with 3:09 left in the fourth quarter, proving pivotal in a 38-30 final; the pick was his first of the season and the second of his career.Â
Due ranks second in the league with 50 total tackles this season and third in tackles for loss (6).Â
The Crusaders continue conference action on Saturday, Oct. 3 at William and Mary. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in Williamsburg, Va.
