Biography
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2020-21:
- Competed in all nine rounds for the Crusaders, averaging a team-best 77.1 strokes per round.
- Finished in a tie for eighth at the Battle of Troy with a score of 76 (3/27).
- Tied for fifth place at the Hartford Invitational with a score of 72 (4/9).
- Named Crusader of the Week on April 12.
- Led team with a third-place finish at the Bulldog Bash vs. Bryant, posting a score of 75 (4/15).
- Tied for 48th at the Abarta Coca-Cola Invitational, posting scores of 76 and 79 over the two rounds (4/18-19).
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2019-20:
- Did not take part in any events.
- Season concluded on March 12 due to COVID-19.
BEFORE HOLY CROSS:
- Played for head coach Humberto Ramirez at Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
- Led team to three consecutive Puerto Rico high school championships.
- Won the 2019 Puerto Rico individual high school championship.
- Placed second in the 2019 Puerto Rico Stroke Play with scores of 73, 71 and 68.
PERSONAL:
- Son of Pedro M. Suau Sanchidrian and Isabel Franco Casellas.
- Has one brother (Pedro).
- Grandfather, Juan “Tito” Franco, graduated from Holy Cross in 1960 and was a captain of the tennis team.
- Majoring in economics.
