Jamie Mainez is in her sixth year on the strength and conditioning staff at the College of the Holy Cross in 2024-2025. She currently serves as an assistant strength and conditioning coach, working primarily with the baseball, field hockey, softball and volleyball programs.Â
Prior to her time at Holy Cross, Mainez was as an assistant softball coach at Western New England College during the 2019 season, helping the Golden Bears to a 21-17 record.
A 2018 graduate of American International College, Mainez was a four-year starter for the Yellow Jacket softball program as a catcher. She was a three-time All-Northeast 10 Conference selection and finished her career with a .304 batting average. Mainez was also a finalist for the Northeast 10 Woman of the Year award as a senior, when she also served as the president of AIC’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and received the Robert Burke Athletics Director Award.
A native of Redlands, Calif., Mainez earned both a bachelor’s degree in health sciences and a master’s degree in exercise science from AIC.
