Holy Cross Athletics

Tad Doherty joined the Holy Cross women's hockey staff as a volunteer assistant coach in 2019-20.

A player and coach for more than 30 years, Doherty has held coaching positions at the high school, collegiate, and national level. Stops include Ponaganset Boys High School, Smithfield High School where he served as head coach, Becker College, and USA Hockey. 

Before coaching, he played at Boston University and for the Natick Comets and Nobles.
 
Doherty resides in Worcester with his daughters Caroline and Regan.
