Mark Daigneault is in his third season as anassistant men's basketball coach at the College of the Holy Crossin 2009-2010. Daigneault's primary responsibilities include filmexchange, camp coordination and opponent scouting. He is alsoinvolved in academic advising, game preparation and playerdevelopment.
Holy Cross has an overall record of 33-28 duringDaigneault's first two seasons on the staff, posting a winningrecord each year. During the 2008-2009, he helped Holy Cross to asecond place finish in the Patriot League.
Daigneault came to Holy Cross from theUniversity of Connecticut, where he served as an undergraduateassistant coach during the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 seasons, undercoach Jim Calhoun and former Holy Cross coach George Blaney. Heassisted in all areas of the program at Connecticut, includingindividual workouts, film breakdown and opponent scouting reports.Daigneault was also a co-director of the Jim Calhoun BasketballCamp from 2005-2007.
A 2007 graduate of the University of Connecticut with abachelor's degree in education, Daigneault resides in Leominster,Mass., where he graduated from Leominster High School in 2003.Daigneault's father, Rick, is a 1980 graduate of Holy Cross, andwas a member of the Crusader baseball team.
