Senior guard Kaitlyn Flanagan paced the Crusaders with 16 points and nine assists in the PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Championship game earning Patriot League Championship MVP honors. Senior forward Meg Cahalan would also be named to the All-Tournament Team.

Jennings comes to Worcester following a three year stint (2020-2023) at Fordham working as an assistant coach for two years and a video analyst for one. She served as Coach Green’s top assistant during her lone year as interim head coach.

“We are thrilled to welcome Anita to the Holy Cross family,” Green said. “I have worked firsthand with Anita and know her commitment to the game of basketball and the student-athlete experience. She truly understands the game of basketball, but what sets her apart is how deeply she cares about the team. Her passion, knowledge, and heart will make an immediate impact on our program.”

Before her time at Fordham, Jennings has over 15 years of coaching experience working at Monmouth (2008-2010) as the Director of Operations. She has also served as an AAU head coach and a program director specializing in player development. She started her coaching career at Hollidaysburg High School as an assistant coach.

She played at Saint Joseph’s from 1991-1995 leading the Hawks to two consecutive NCAA Tournament At-Large berths in 1994 and 1995. During her junior season, Saint Joseph’s was the number one team in the nation in scoring defense while also winning the team’s Loyalty and Leadership award. In her final season in Philadelphia, Jennings was a team captain and earned the Unsung Hero award. She graduated from Saint Joseph’s in 1995 with a major in criminal justice.
