• Played two seasons of varsity baseball at Paul VI Catholic High School under head coach Jeff Nolan
• Earned the Scholar Athlete Award in 2012 and 2013
• Team won the WCAC championship and the VISAA state championship in 2012
• Member of the Centreville Aces club baseball team under coach Bill Moore
• Four-year class president and member of the student government executive board  
• Received the Bishop Welsh Leadership Award in 2013
• Member of National Honor Society

• Son of George and Laurie Capen
• Father was a member of Navy’s tennis team (Class of 1989)
• Mother was a member of Navy’s track and cross country teams (Class of 1989)
• Has one brother (David) and one sister (Sarah)
• Majoring in Mathematics
