Biography
2015: Appeared in two games as a junior … played in an 11-7 loss against host Lafayette (4/4) and in a 12-10 victory over host Boston University (4/17) ... named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2014: Played in five games with one start … posted an assist versus No. 19 Fairfield (3/22).
2013: Played in two games … recorded first career assist against Colgate (3/9) … picked up one ground ball.
Before Holy Cross: Two-year member of the varsity lacrosse team at Loyola Blakefield H.S. for coach Jack Crawford … team was ranked No. 15 in the nation by Inside Lacrosse, and finished as the runner-up in the MIAA … selected to play in the 2011 Maryland State Lacrosse Coaches Association Top 44 Game … also a played varsity football, as a running back and cornerback.
Personal: Son of Mike and Trish Coan … both parents graduated from Holy Cross in 1983 … father played ice hockey at Holy Cross … has three brothers (Brendan, Tim and Brian) … twin brother, Brendan, plays lacrosse at Babson College … has several other relatives who graduated from Holy Cross … majoring in History.
