Before Holy Cross:
- Was a four-year member of the varsity lacrosse team under head coach Dean Chaprentier and captained the team his senior year
- Named All-ISL as a junior and a two-time All-ISL Honorable mention (2015, 2017)
- Finished his high school career with a 78% percentage
- Named to the Eagle Tribune All-Boston team
- Played club lacrosse for HGR under head coach Bryan Brazil
- Named the Eagle Tribune Unsung Hero
Personal:
- Son of Vincent and Jeanne Helfrich
- Has three brothers (Vincent, Patrick and Conor)
- Vincent played rugby at Merrimack College, Patrick played lacrosse at Wentworth University and Conor played lacrosse at Tufts Universit
