Will represent Ireland in the 2010Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Men's World Championshipin Manchester, England in July.

2009: Played insix games... made 16 saves and allowed 25 goals, as he had a 19.85goals against average and a .390 save percentage ... picked up fiveground balls.

2008: Played insix games in goal with one start ... made 11 saves and allowed 20goals, as he had a 12.97 goals against average and .355 savepercentage ... went 0-1 ... made his first collegiate start in thegame at Dartmouth (3/25) ... picked up six ground balls.

2007: Appeared intwo games ... made two saves and allowed one goal.

Before Holy Cross:Was a two-year member of the varsity lacrosse team at John Jay H.S.as a goalie ... named a 2006 All-American as a senior captain ...earned All-Section and All-League accolades in 2005 and 2006 ...named the team MVP as a senior ... team advanced to the statesemifinals in both 2005 and 2006.

Personal: Son ofKevin and Kathy Sweeney ... his father played football at Marist... has two brothers, Kevin and Pat ... his brother Kevin was agoalie on the Providence lacrosse team ... majoring in Economicsand Accounting.
