2015: Appeared in eight of 13 games as a junior … netted four goals and recorded two assists for six points on the season to go along with two ground balls … scored his first collegiate goal, recorded an assist and collected a ground ball in an 11-2 victory over visiting Hartford (3/17) … posted a goal, an assist, and collected a ground ball in a 12-10 victory over host Boston University (4/17) … found the back of the net in an 11-7 loss to host Lafayette (4/4) … scored in a 19-7 loss to visiting Lehigh (3/28).

2013: Did not appear in any games … named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Before Holy Cross: Four-year member of the varsity lacrosse team at Long Beach H.S. for coach James Kaspar … team captain and team MVP in senior year … named All-Conference in 2010, honorable mention All-County in 2011 and All-County in 2012 … totaled 185 career points … also lettered in cross country and football … played club lacrosse for the Long Beach Lacrosse Club, under his father, coach Gregory Sofield … captain of club team in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 … member of National Honor Society … received the U.S. Army Scholar-Athlete Award.
