Patrick Hart

Patrick Hart is in his secondseason as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at Holy Cross in 2010.Hart is a 2005 Holy Cross graduate and was a four-year member ofthe lacrosse team.

After graduating from Holy Cross asan Economics major, Hart earned valuable coaching experience at thePortsmouth Abbey School in Portsmouth, R.I., where he was anassistant varsity lacrosse coach, an assistant varsity footballcoach and the head junior varsity basketball coach in 2005-2006 and2006-2007. During his time at the school, the lacrosse team playedfor the conference championship in 2006 and the football teamplayed for the conference and the New England championships in2005. For three years, Hart was a member of the staff at the HolyCross Lacrosse Camp where he was promoted to the position of fielddirector in 2007. He also has the experience of being a counselorat the New England Top 150 Lacrosse Camp in Portsmouth, R.I., whichis one of the top High School recruiting camps in the nation, whilehe also spent six years as a counselor at the Central BergenLacrosse Camp in Oradell, N.J., where he was also promoted to fielddirector.

A native of Wyckoff, N.J., Hartplayed four years at Holy Cross. As a senior in 2005, he wasrecipient of the John H. Price Award which is given to a member ofthe lacrosse team that best exemplifies the ideal set forth byformer captain, John H. Price, as "a man for others." Hart was alsoa member of the Patriot League Honor Roll and was a mentor in theWorcester Big Brother Program. As a midfielder for the Crusaders,he recorded four goals and 12 assists for 16 points in 43 games.Hart came to Holy Cross from Bergen Catholic.

After serving as a mathteacher at the Portsmouth Abbey School from Sept. of 2005 to thesummer of 2007, Hart became a financial recruiter at Michael PageInternational in Sept. of 2007 until returning to Holy Cross.
