Colby Cohen joins the men's lacrosse staff for his first season in 2024-25. In his role, Cohen works closely with the faceoff unit and oversees the box.
Before arriving at Holy Cross, Cohen served as an assistant coach at LaSalle College High School in Montgomery County, Pa., where he played a pivotal role in achieving an impressive faceoff success rate of over 80 percent for the season. The team ended the year as state runners-up.
Cohen's coaching journey also includes a three-year tenure at The Lawrenceville School in Lawrence Township, N.J., as an assistant coach, where he helped the program to national prominence. The Big Red attained a No. 1 ranking in three national polls, with Cohen leading the faceoff unit and managing box coordination.
Earlier in his career, Cohen served as an assistant coach for the University of Arizona's men's club lacrosse team during the 2020 season.
A native of Palisades, N.Y., Cohen earned his degree in sport management from SUNY Cortland in 2017. While at Cortland, he served as an undergraduate assistant coach for the men's lacrosse team, where he successfully led his faceoff specialist to All-America honorable mention recognition.
