Adam Pascal

Adam Pascal is in his seventhseason at the helm of the Crusader men's lacrosse program in2011.

The 2010 Crusaders went 5-10overall as Holy Cross scored 125 goals, which were the mostgoals scored by the Crusaders since they scored 128 in 1998. HolyCross' 414 ground balls were the most since they earned 519 inthe 2002 season. Also in 2010, the Crusaders earned firstever wins over Dartmouth and Colgate, only allowed one goal in thevictory over Vermont and scored their most goals in a game sincethe 2001 season in the 17-10 win over Quinnipiac. Holy Cross alsodefeated Bryant for its fifth win of the season.

After Holy Cross' 7-6 victory atYale on February 24, 2008, Pascal was named the US Lacrosse Coachof the Week. The win was the Crusaders' first ever victory over aschool from the Ivy League.

In 2007 Pascal was named the NewEngland Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Coach of the Year ashe coached the Crusaders to a 6-8 record marking the best overallrecord at Holy Cross since 1988. Holy Cross improved during theseason and came on strong as it won four of its last six games.

On April 24, 2006, Pascal washonored as one of 50 "Mentors that Matter" in a ceremony at theGreat Hall of the Massachusetts State House in Boston. Pascal washonored for his role as a Big Brother, and for encouraging theentire men's lacrosse team to be Big Brothers at Canterbury Schoolin Worcester.

He came to Holy Cross afterspending two seasons at Williams College as an assistant coach.While at Williams, Pascal was the offensive coordinator and goaliecoach and was responsible for teaching technique and fundamentalsof the positions. He also helped out with recruiting throughon-site and video evaluations and was involved in game preparation,strength and conditioning and scouting of opponents. Pascal alsohelped coach the running backs and defensive line on the footballteam.

Before Williams, Pascal spent aseason as an assistant coach at Harvard University where he wasresponsible for coordinating and supervising individual trainingsessions during the off-season, monitoring the strength andconditioning of the team and scouting potential high schoolrecruits and opponents. He also assisted the head equipment managerwith many phases of running the athletic department and was headcoach of the junior varsity team.

Pascal spent the 2000 season atNazareth College as an assistant coach where he helped organizepractices and game day preparation and was in charge of gamemanagement and player substitution. He was also responsible forrecruiting and was head coach of the junior varsity team.

The Buffalo Bandits of the NationalLacrosse League selected Pascal as a 1999 first-round draft pick.In 2001 he continued to play professionally with the Boston Cannonsduring the inaugural season of Major League Lacrosse.

A graduate of Middlebury College,Pascal received a Bachelor of Arts in American Civilization in1999. A four year letterwinner and two-time All American, Pascalholds three NCAA Tournament records, including most goals in a game(8), most goals in a tournament (19) and most points in atournament (24). As a senior he was selected to participate in theNorth-South All-Star game. In addition to playing lacrosse, Pascalwas a four year letterwinner in football. He was the 1999 recipientof the A. Bayard Russ Grant, given to an outstanding two-sportathlete.
