Assistant Captain

AS A JUNIOR IN 2014-2015:
• Played in all 37 games
• Scored seven goals and tallied five assists for 12 points
• Tied for sixth in the nation in face-off wins with 477
• Scored two goals against Niagara (1/30)
• Won the Dr. James M. Stewart Coaches' Award

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2013-2014:

• Played in all 39 games
• Scored six goals and posted nine assists for 15 points, both career-highs
• Was a part of a core of centers who ranked fourth in the nation with a .542 faceoff percentage
• His 358 faceoff victories ranked 38th in the country
• Scored first career goal and game-winner against Sacred Heart (11/1)
• Named GoHolyCross.com Crusader of the Week ( 11/4)
• Earned Atlantic Hockey All-Academic honors

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012-2013:
• Played in all 37 games
• Tallied two assists totaling two points
• His .579 face-off percentage ranked 12th nationally, third nationally among freshmen and second overall in Atlantic Hockey for players who took more than 300 face-offs
• Led the team in face-off percentage among players with more than 50 face-offs
• Tallied first career point with an assist against Robert Morris (11/30)
• Had one assist against Sacred Heart (2/19)
• One of two freshmen to play in every game
• Earned Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team honors

BEFORE HOLY CROSS:
• Played for three seasons for the Kenai River Brown Bears (NAHL) in Soldotna, Alaska, for coach Oliver David
• Team captain in 2010-2011 and 2011-2012, while has was an assistant captain in 2009-2010
• Earned 2011-2012 first team All-NAHL West Division honors
• Holds franchise career records for points (159), assists (123) and games played (174)
• Broke his own team single-season assist record with 50 in 2011-2012 as he previously set the record with 48 in 2010-2011
• Also set the single-season plus/minus record with a +15 in 2010-2011
• Only inductee in the Kenai River Brown Bear Hall of Fame as he was inducted in March of 2012
• Ranked second in the NAHL in assists with 48 in 2010-2011, while he was 12th overall in points with 63
• Third in NAHL with 50 assists and eighth with 67 points in 2011-2012
• Played in the NAHL Top Prospects tournament in January 2011 as his team won the tournament and he posted three points in three games
• Also played for Detroit Honeybaked (Tier I AAA Elite Hockey League) for coach Robert Krohl, serving as a two-time team captain
• Detroit Honeybaked won the 2004-2005 state championship
• Attended Walled Lake Western High School and was a three-year member and two-time captain of the varsity baseball team
• Member of National Honor Society

• Father played lacrosse at Michigan State (Class of 1979)
• Has one brother (Eric) and one sister (Allison)
• Grandfather, Eddie Lubanski, was a world champion bowler
• Majoring in Sociology
