Kevin Robinson is in his fifth season as an assistant coach at theCollege of the Holy Cross in 2014-2015. Last year, he helped theCrusaders to an overall record of 20-14, good for their first20-win season since 2006-2007. Holy Cross also placed third in thePatriot League with a 12-6 mark in conference games, and receivedan invitation to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament. HolyCross’ 68-65 victory at Brown in the first round of the 2014CIT was its first in a national postseason tournament since2004-2005

Overall, Robinson has helped the Crusaders to three finishes inthe top half of the Patriot League standings in the last fourseasons. Holy Cross placed third in the conference in both2010-2011 and 2013-2014, and fourth in 2011-2012.

Robinson came to Holy Cross after serving as an assistant coachat Mount St. Mary’s University for the previous seven years.During his final three seasons at Mount St. Mary’s, Robinsonhelped the Mountaineers to an overall record of 54-44 and a 35-19mark in the Northeast Conference. Mount St. Mary’s alsoappeared in postseason play twice during that time frame, advancingto the NCAA Tournament in 2008 and the College Insider Tournamentin 2009. In 2008, the Mountaineers won the Northeast ConferenceTournament title and posted the first NCAA Division I Tournamentvictory in school history, with a 69-60 win over Coppin State inthe opening round.

Robinson was previously a graduate assistant for theMountaineers during the 2002-2003 season, in addition tocoordinating Mount St. Mary’s student-athlete supportservices for all sports in 2006-2007. Prior to that, he served asan assistant coach at St. Mary’s College (Md.) for threeyears from 1999-2002.

Robinson earned his bachelor’s degree in political sciencefrom St. Mary’s in 2000, and went on to receive amaster’s degree in teaching from Mount St. Mary’s in2006. During his days as an undergraduate, he was a four-yearletterwinner on the Seahawks’ basketball team.
