• Shortened season played during Spring 2021 due to COVID-19.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2019:

• Saw action in 12 games as a backup defensive lineman.
• Made 20 tackles on the season, including five tackles for loss.
• Posted a season-best four tackles with two tackles for loss at Navy.
• Totaled three tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and a quarterback hurry at Syracuse.
• Had three tackles, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry during the victory at Brown.
• Recorded three tackles and one tackle for loss in the win over Colgate.

HIGH SCHOOL:

• Played for head coach Steve Specht at St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.
• Served as team captain during his senior season.
• Selected as the 2018 Greater Catholic League South Division Lineman of the Year.
• A two-time first team All-Greater Catholic League South Division selection.
• Helped lead team to a state championship in 2016 and a Greater Catholic League South Division title in 2017.
• Ranked as the No. 81 FCS recruit in the nation by Hero Sports.
• Also lettered in basketball.

PERSONAL:

• Son of Kurt and Joann Kiessling.
• Father played football at Wilmington College.
• Has one brother (Sam) and two sisters (Hannah, Emma).
• Majoring in psychology.
