AS A JUNIOR IN 2015:
• Played in the first two games of the season at cornerback, before missing the remainder of the year due to injury.
• Totaled seven tackles on the season.
• Recorded five tackles at Towson.
• Made two solo tackles in the victory at Monmouth.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2014:
• Played in 10 games at cornerback, starting nine times.
• Tied for third on the team with 43 total tackles, including 37 solo stops.
• Led the team with six pass breakups, and tied for the team lead with two interceptions.
• Finished the season ranked seventh in the Patriot League in passes defended and 40th in total tackles.
• Led the team with a season-high eight tackles in the win at Lafayette.
• Recorded six tackles and a pass breakup at Brown.
• Totaled five tackles, an interception and a pass breakup during the victory over Lehigh.
• Made two tackles and intercepted a pass at Colgate.
• Tallied six total tackles at Dartmouth.
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2013:
• Saw action in 11 games at cornerback, earning one start.
• Totaled 27 tackles on the season, including 25 solo stops and three tackles for loss.
• Also posted one interception and two pass breakups.
• Recorded a team-high eight solo tackles, two tackles for loss and two pass breakups against Georgetown in his first career start.
• Tallied four tackles, one tackle for loss and an interception in the victory at Bucknell.
• Totaled five solo tackles at Lehigh.
• Made three tackles against both Central Connecticut and Fordham.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012:
• Missed the entire season due to injury.
• Received a medical redshirt.
• Selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
HOLY CROSS TRACK & FIELD:
• Competed in jumps and sprints during the 2013-2014 season.
• Placed eighth in the triple jump at the Patriot League indoor championship (13.93 meters) and 15th in the long jump (5.93 meters).
• Came in 15th in the triple jump at the New England indoor championship (13.65 meters).
• Had top marks of 13.93 meters in the triple jump, 6.02 meters in the long jump and 7.49 seconds in the 60-meter dash.
HIGH SCHOOL:
• Spent one postgraduate year at the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Conn., playing for head coach Chuck Reid.
• Previously played for head coach Mickey Finley at Victoria East High School in Victoria, Texas.
• Earned second team All-District honors, in addition to being an Academic All-State selection.
• Served as team captain at both Victoria East and Loomis Chaffee.
• Also a member of the varsity track and field team, earning All-Region honors in the triple jump.

• Son of Sylvia Martinez.
• Has five brothers (Mario, Demond, Nivory, Malik and Elijah) and two sisters (Claudia and Mia).
• Majoring in Psychology.
