Played strong safety, free safety and outside linebacker for Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School under head coach Jerry Schulte.

Over prep career, tallied 215 tackles, 10 interceptions, 16 pass breakups, five forced fumbles, two sacks and three fumble recoveries.
In 2019, recorded 95 tackles, four interceptions, six pass breakups, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two sacks, while returning two interceptions for touchdowns.
Owns school record for most career tackles by a safety.
Team won two divisional champions, in addition to earning the 2018 Central Jersey Group 3 championship and the 2018 South Jersey Group 3 championship.
Also competed in basketball and track and field.

Father Matt was a member of the swimming and diving team at Syracuse.
