AS A SENIOR IN 2021: 

• Named to All-Patriot League first team.
• CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree.
• Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar.
• Won the Davitt Award as the team’s top defensive lineman.
• Selected to Phil Steele’s All-Patriot League second team
• Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection. 
• Started all 13 games at defensive tackle. 
• Tallied 25 tackles on the year, with four tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and an interception.
• Recorded a 29-yard pick-six in victory over UConn (9/4). 
• Made three tackles, including two for loss, against Georgetown (10/16).
• Had a sack against Lafayette (11/6).

AS A JUNIOR IN 2020:

• CoSIDA Academic All-District I selection.
• Named an Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar. 
• Started all four games at defensive tackle. 
• Had eight tackles on the year, with four tackles for loss and a sack. 
• Had a pair of tackles, including a tackle for loss, in season opener at Lehigh (3/13). 
• Posted three tackles against Fordham (3/27).
• Had a pair of tackles and a sack in Patriot League Championship Game against Bucknell (4/17). 
• Shortened season played during Spring 2021 due to COVID-19.
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2019:

• Named an Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar.
• Played in all 13 games at defensive tackle, starting 11 times.
• Totaled 26 tackles on the year, with 20 solo stops and two sacks.
• Also broke up three passes on the season.
• Made a season-high five tackles during the win at Brown. 
• Recorded four tackles in the victory over New Hampshire, with a tackle for loss and a pass breakup.
• Tallied three tackles, a sack and a blocked extra point during the NCAA playoff game at Monmouth.
• Posted a quarterback sack and a pass breakup during the win at Lehigh.
• Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2018:

• Appeared in nine games as a reserve defensive lineman.
• Totaled six tackles on the season.
• Made two tackles against both Boston College and Dartmouth.
• Also had tackles against Colgate and Lehigh.
• Selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL:

• Played for head coach Wayne Demikoff at Wayne Hills High School in Wayne, N.J.
• Served as team captain during his senior season.
• A three-time first team All-Conference selection.
• Named first team All-State as a senior.
• Earned first team All-Passaic County and first team All-North Jersey honors.
• Helped lead team to the 2016 state championship.
• Totaled 242 tackles, 27 quarterback sacks, seven forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries during his high school career.
• Also lettered in basketball and baseball, earning second team All-Conference honors in basketball.
• Member of National Honor Society.

PERSONAL:

• Son of Sunil and Toni Modak.
• Has two sisters (Nicole and Laura).
• Majoring in Economics.
