HONORS & AWARDS
Patriot League Academic Honor Roll (2020)

AS A SENIOR IN 2021: 

• Played in 12 games as a reserve wide receiver. 
• Had a touchdown on eight receptions, with a total of 60 yards.
• Caught a 13-yard touchdown against Georgetown (10/16).

AS A JUNIOR IN 2020: 

• Appeared in four games with three starts at wide receiver. 
• Totaled 50 yards on four receptions. 
• Had a 20-yard reception against Fordham (3/27). 
• Caught the ball twice for 19 yards in FCS first round game at South Dakota State (4/24).
• Shortened season played during Spring 2021 due to COVID-19.
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2019:

• Appeared in 12 games at wide receiver, starting eight times.
• Ranked fifth on the team in receiving with 12 catches for 156 yards.
• Caught a season-high three passes for 23 yards during the victory at Bucknell.
• Made two catches for 21 yards against Lafayette.
• Had a season-long 55-yard reception in the victory over Colgate.
• Caught a pass for a two-point conversion in the NCAA playoff game at Monmouth.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2018:

• Did not see any varsity action.

HIGH SCHOOL:

• Played for head coach Roc Batten at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tenn.
• A two-time All-District and All-Region selection.
• Helped lead team to three district championships, along with a state runner-up finish in 2014.
• Caught 88 passes for 1,392 yards and 16 touchdowns during his high school career.
• Also lettered in basketball and soccer.
• Served as team captain in football, basketball and soccer.
• Scored over 1,000 career points in basketball, while earning All-District and All-Region honors in both basketball and soccer.
• Member of National Honor Society.

PERSONAL:

• Son of John and Lannie Jewell.
• Father played football at Hampden-Sydney College.
• Has two sisters (Annie and Ella).
• Majoring in political science.
