AS A SENIOR IN 2023: 

• Started all 11 games at defensive tackle. 
• All-Patriot League First Team selection.
• Won the Davitt Award as the team’s top defensive lineman.
• Named to Phil Steele All-Patriot League Second Team.
• Secured three solo tackles against Boston College (9/9). 
• Totaled four tackles and a quarterback hurry against Harvard (9/30).
• Recorded three tackles, one for a loss, a pass breakup, and a quarterback hurry against Bucknell (10/7). 
• Had a 10-yard sack and a forced fumble in victory at Fordham (10/28).
• Had two tackles and two quarterback hurries against Georgetown (11/18). 

AS A JUNIOR IN 2022: 

• Started all 13 games at defensive tackle. 
• Totaled 16 tackles, eight of which were solo.
• Had a career-high six tackles against Fordham (10/29).
• Recorded a quarterback hurry in FCS quarterfinal matchup against South Dakota State (12/10). 
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2021: 

• Played in four games with one start as a defensive tackle.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2020: 

• Appeared in two contests.
• Recorded a tackle against Fordham (3/27). 
• Shortened season played during Spring 2021 due to COVID-19.

• Played for head coach Riley Dodge at Carroll Senior High School in Southlake, Texas.
• Recorded 40 tackles and five quarterback sacks during his senior season.
• Totaled 70 tackles and nine quarterback sacks during his high school career.
• Also a member of the track and field and basketball teams.

• Son of David and Tina Springer.
• Has one brother (D.J.) and one sister (Hannah).
• Brother, D.J., played golf at Trinity (Texas) University.
• Majoring in political science.
