• Played in 11 games as a backup in the secondary and onspecial teams.

• Saw action in three games, playing on special teams and asa reserve in the secondary.

• Missed the entire season due to injury, and received amedical redshirt.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006:

HIGH SCHOOL:
• Served as captain of the football, wrestling and soccerteams.
• Earned All-District honors during his junior and senioryears, while being named Defensive Player of the Year as asenior.
• Totaled 102 tackles, six sacks and 14 tackles for loss in2005, to lead the team in all three categories.
• Holds school career records for tackles (246) and sacks(14).
• Earned All-State honors in wrestling in 2006, while winningthe district title.
• Led the wrestling team to four straight districtchampionships, and the soccer team to two district titles and aregional championship.
