Pete Haffner enters his first season as an offensive qualify control coach for Holy Cross in 2022.
Haffner comes to Worcester following a four-year collegiate career as a linebacker for Patriot League opponent Lehigh. A three-time Patriot League second team honoree, Haffner was a two-time team captain and a three-time Academic All-Patriot League selection. He appeared in 39 games for the Mountain Hawks, totaling 230 career tackles, 8.5 sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles.
In spring 2021, Haffner was a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, which is awarded to the nation's top scholar athlete.
A native of State College, Pa., Haffner graduated in May 2021 from Lehigh with a degree in finance.
