Mike Pedone is in his third season as Holy Cross’offensive coordinator in 2010, and his 15th year overall on theCrusader coaching staff. Pedone, who also works directly with thetight ends, spent the previous 12 seasons as the offensive linecoach, in addition to serving as assistant head coach for twoyears.

In his two years as offensive coordinator, Pedone has directedone of the most prolific offenses in the nation. During the 2008season, he led a unit which ranked second in the country in passingoffense (348.9 yards/game), sixth in total offense (455.5yards/game) and 15th in scoring offense (34.4 points/game), whilein 2009 the Crusaders stood fourth in the nation in passing offense(314.9 yards/game), sixth in total offense (433.6 yards/game) and13th in scoring offense (32.2 points/game).

During his first 12 years at Holy Cross, Pedone developedseveral All-Patriot League offensive linemen, including DavidCannon, Chris Conley, Jefferson Exil, Steve Fox, Jamie Grabowski,Hall McMillan, Dan Nolan, Patrick Quay and Andrew Schoepfer. In2007, he led an offensive line which paved the way for theCrusaders to lead the Patriot League in scoring (35.9 points pergame), total offense (463.4 yards per game) and passing offense(335.2 yards per game). Pedone’s offensive line also allowedjust 14 sacks during the 2007 season.

Prior to coming to Holy Cross, Pedone spent one season working asan assistant offensive line coach and tight ends coach at BostonUniversity in 1995.

Pedone is a graduate of Boston University, earning hisbachelor’s degree in 1994 and his master’s degree in1996. He had a distinguished career playing for the Terriers,serving as captain of the 1993 and 1994 teams which advanced to theNCAA Division I-AA playoffs. He began his career as a defensivelineman, but after switching to the offensive line in 1993, heearned All-Yankee Conference, All-East and honorable mentionAll-America honors in 1994.

Pedone and his wife, the former Sara Ann Campbell, reside inWorcester with their son, Zachary.
