Mark McDonough

Mark McDonough is in his sixth season on the Crusader coachingstaff in 2010, where he serves as the linebackers coach. During the2009 campaign, he directed a group of linebackers which includedfirst team All-Patriot League selection Marcus Rodriguez.

In 2008, two of McDonough’s players earned All-PatriotLeague honors, in Sean Lamkin and Rodriguez. He previously helpedguide the careers of All-Patriot League selection Dan Adams andtwo-time Academic All-District selection Chris Nielsen.

McDonough came to Holy Cross from Springfield College, where heserved as inside linebackers coach for two seasons. He helped leadthe Pride to an overall record of 18-3 and two NCAA Division IIIplayoff appearances in 2003 and 2004, with the 2003 squad posting a10-0 mark in the regular season and earning the top seed in theNCAA East Region.

McDonough is a 2002 graduate of Ithaca College, where he earnedthird team Division III All-America honors from Don Hansen’sNational Weekly Football Gazette as a senior.

McDonough is single and resides in Worcester.
