Kevin McLaughlin is in his first year as a volunteer with Bob Chesney’s staff in 2019, handling defensive quality control.

McLaughlin is a 2019 graduate of Western New England University with a bachelor’s degree in sport management. He was a four-year starter at linebacker for the Golden Bears from 2015-2018, totaling 180 tackles and 22 tackles for loss while leading the team to four straight conference titles and NCAA playoff appearances. A three-time Academic All-Commonwealth Coast Conference selection, McLaughlin also received the league’s Senior Perseverance and Achievement Award and the team’s Jimmy Guyer Award for courage and leadership.

During his time as an undergraduate, McLaughlin served as an intern with 360 Sports LLC, the Valley Blue Sox and the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation.
