Dakota Allosso is in his second season on Tom Gilmore’scoaching staff in 2012, and his first year as the outsidelinebackers coach. He served as the assistant secondary coachduring the 2011 campaign, working with a Holy Cross defensivebackfield which included two All-Patriot League selections inChandler Fenner and Tom Mannix.
Previously, Allosso spent six months as the wide receivers coachat West Virginia Wesleyan College in the spring of 2011.
Allosso graduated from Holy Cross in December of 2010 with adegree in history and political science. During his days as anundergraduate, Allosso was a member of the Holy Cross football teamfrom 2006-2010 as a defensive back.
Following the 2010 campaign, he received the Connor Award as theHoly Cross senior who was the person the players are most proud ofas a teammate, in a vote of the varsity squad. Allosso previouslytook home the team’s Unsung Hero Award in 2009, as the playerwho supported the squad spiritually, emotionally and physically forthe good of the team.
