Chris Benjamin is in his first season on the Holy Cross coaching staff in 2017, serving as the running backs coach.
In addition to his duties with the football team, Benjamin serves as an Adjunct Professor of Naval Science and Executive Officer of the Naval ROTC Unit at Holy Cross. He is responsible for leadership and development of Midshipmen during their undergraduate education, while being accountable for oversight of military and civilian staff as well as execution of Navy and college budgets.
Benjamin has been an officer in the United States Navy since 1999, and has been stationed in San Diego, Calif.; Millington, Tenn.; Jacksonville, Fla.; and Brunswick, Maine. He also has spent numerous years coaching football on the high school and youth levels.
A 1999 graduate of Worcester State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Benjamin went on to earn his master’s degree in business administration from Webster University in 2009.
