- Three-year varsity starter under head coach Doug Kopcso at Needham High School
- Earned All-State and All-Bay State first team honors in both junior and senior years
- Team earned back-to-back conference championships and competed in the Division 1 Super bowl for the second time in program history
- Competed in track and field
- Football and Track and Field Captain in senior year
- Boston Herald All-scholastic senior year
- New England Football Journal All-State first team senior year
- Mass. High School Football Coaches Association Division 1 All-State first team junior and senior year
- Named to MHSFCA Super 26 All-State team senior year
