AS A SENIOR IN 2021: 

• Started 29 games at first base.
• Tallied seven doubles, one home run, 18 RBI and 20 runs scored.
• Tied for team lead in doubles.
• Reached career highs in doubles and RBI on the season. 
• Went 2-for-5 with a double and pair of RBI against Army (3/27).
• Went 2-for-3 with a double and a career-high three runs scored at Navy (4/24). 
• Hit 2-for-4 and scored two runs against Navy (4/24). 
• Drove in three runs and doubled in a 2-for-4 contest against Navy (4/25).
• Recorded the walkoff hit in a 10-inning win over Army (5/1).
• Hit a grand slam against Army (5/1). 
• Went 2-for-4 with a double against Army (5/2). 
• Doubled during a 2-for-4 showing against Merrimack (5/5).

AS A JUNIOR IN 2020:

• Played in 12 games with 11 starts at first base and designated hitter.
• Batted .273 and led team with a .545 slugging percentage and three home runs.
• Led team with 13 RBI.
• Ranked second in Patriot League in slugging percentage, tied for second in home runs and third in RBI.
• Went 3-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBI at Old Dominion (2/22).
• Hit a home run at CSU Bakersfield (2/29).
• Drove in a pair of runs with a double and run scored at CSU Bakersfield (3/2).
• Went 2-for-3 with a run scored at UC Riverside (3/7).
• Batted 2-for-4 with a home run and five RBI against UC Riverside (3/8).
• Went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and two runs scored at Boston College (3/10).
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
• Season concluded on March 12 due to COVID-19.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2019:

• Appeared in 31 games with 24 starts at first base.
• Hit .263 with an on-base percentage of .436.
• Recorded 14 RBI, five doubles and one triple with a slugging percentage of .355.
• Walked 18 times.
• Hit .302 in Patriot League play, slugging .415 with an OBP of .465.
• Had a double and pair of RBI vs. Dartmouth (4/3).
• Went 2-for-3 with four RBI at Bucknell (4/13).
• Hit 2-for-4 with three RBI vs. Hartford (4/24).
• Went 2-for-2 with a double and RBI vs. Army West Point (4/27).
• Batted 3-for-4 with a double, triple, two runs scored and three RBI at Lafayette (5/4).
• Earned Ray Dobens Award as Holy Cross’ Most Improved Player.
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2018:

• Appeared in four games as an infielder. 
• Posted a double and an RBI. 
• First collegiate hit came vs. Harvard (3/28). 
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 

BEFORE HOLY CROSS:

• Competed in three varsity seasons at St. John’s Prep under head coach Dan Letarte.
• Served as team captain as a senior.
• Named Salem News Student-Athlete award nominee.
• Team was Mass. Super 8 Division 1A State Runners-Up 2015-2017.
• Finished career with a .326 average, 8 home runs and 62 RBI.
• Also played one season of varsity basketball.
• President of National Honor Society.
• Earned Academic Excellence recognition all four years.

PERSONAL:

• Son of Walter and Barbara Selima.
• Has two brothers (David and Michael) and two sisters (Laura and Linda).
• Majoring in mathematics.
